See and Be Seen on Facebook.  What You Need To Know:

The way you see news/posts and communicate on Facebook has changed in the past few months. Lately, you may have noticed seeing only updates in your news feed from the same people? What about only seeing the same group of people commenting on your posts? Where are all of your friends AND where are you in the mix? Are they witnessing the same occurrences?

Many in your contact list can’t see anything you post and here’s why:

The “New Facebook” has a newsfeed setting that, in some cases, by default is automatically set to show ONLY posts from people you’ve recently interacted with or have interacted the most with (which would be limited to a couple of weeks just before people started switching to the “new profile”). In other words, for both business and personal pages, unless you or your friends/fans commented on one another’s posts within those couple of weeks - you are now invisible to them and they are invisible to you!!

HOW TO FIX IT:

On your homepage (click “Home” in the top right corner), click the “Most Recent” title on the right of the Newsfeed, then click on the drop down arrow beside it and select “Edit Options”. Click on the “Show Posts From” and change the setting to “All of Your Friends and Pages”. (See picture below of how the change should appear.)

You can now view all of your friends and fans again BUT YOU ARE STILL INVISIBLE to a large portion of your list. If you want to t reestablish contact, you will need to get the word out to ALL of your contacts. Share this with your friends by clicking the “Share” button at the top of this post or by attending the following “event” on Facebook so they can read the post and make changes to their settings.
